BETA-SITOSTEROL – Beta-Sitosterol is an anti-inflammatory antioxidant.  It suppresses the production of prostaglandins which are over stimulated by the consumption of alcohol.  It protects the liver (hepatoprotective) which is the organ primarily responsible for alcohol detoxification. 

KAEMPFEROL – Kaempferol is hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory.  It aids in the absorption of Copper and is an antioxidant.  It aids on controlling the production of histamine (causes inflammation) which is over stimulated by alcohol consumption (antihistaminic).  It is a COX-2 inhibitor which is important in alcohol metabolism.  It is a vasodilator (helps keep blood vessels open and free-circulating) and is neuroprotective protective of the nervous system.  

LINOLEIC ACID – Linoleic Acid is antihistaminic, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective. 

LUTEOLIN – Luteolin can dramatically reduce inflammation and is an antioxidant.  It is hepatoprotective and antihistaminic.  It is a vasodilator and a prostaglandin synthetase inhibitor. 

OLEIC ACID – Oleic Acid is anti-inflammatory. 

RUTIN – is an aldehyde oxidase inhibitor important in alcohol metabolism.  It fights toxins that are injurious to the liver (antihepatotoxic) is hepatoprotective and is hepatomagenic (promotes regeneration and replacement of damaged liver tissue. It is antihistaminic and anti-inflammatory.  It is an antioxidant and a vasodilator. 

QUERCETIN – Quercetin is a potent antioxidant and has vitamin C sparing action.  It is an aldehyde oxidase inhibitor and an analgesic (pain killer).  It is hepatoprotective, antihepatotoxic and Hepatomagenic.  It is antihistaminic and anti-inflammatory.  It is a prostaglandin synthetase inhibitor, a COX-2 inhibitor, a vasodilator and supports Copper absorption by the body.  It is neuroprotective.   

STIGMASTEROL – is an antioxidant and is antihepatotoxic.
